NaNoWriMo
So November 1st is just around the corner, and with that comes National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo for short. I signed up last year for it, with the intent of actually writing something but it was like a huge writers block. Well this year I want to try again but I still have no idea no outline no characters absolutely ZERO! Well that's a bit of a lie I do have ideas but they all come from my dreams and all my dreams are about Harry Potter or hockey players, and let's face it fan fiction is not for NaNoWriMo. I feel like a failure again this year because I've signed up for it I've been thinking about it all year but NO IDEAS! What do you do when you have a complete brain failure on something you want to do LJ? Do you go somewhere inspiring? Do you just write random things until something you like comes to mind? Do you relax and let the writing juices flow? LET ME KNOW!
UPDATE!!! I lost NaNoWriMo this year but I will win next year.

Child scream tax? Please!
So I work in retail and I'm sure you all know what it's like having childern scream in your ear wile trying to remember what you are suposed to pick up..well my solution? A child scream tax...get a device attach it to a buggy that you have to put a quater in to use then when they go through the register the machine transfers a message to the register about their child screaming and the customer is charged a dollar. What if the child gets hurt in the store you say? Well if you get hurt in a store you tell and employee correct? So if it's your child when you tell the employee and they take off the charge. Does anyone else agree that that would be awesome? Or do people think I'm being a bitch?

The weekend
My weekend was interesting to say the least. While I was sulking that I wasn't at the Caps Con I was at the Ancaster Fair with my mom dad brother sister-in-law niece and nephew for my moms birthday. It was the first time I've been to the Ancaster fair since I was about 5. For a fair it's was to commercialized. My niece went on the ferris wheel with my sister-in-law, at the top Jess asked my niece what she wanted to go on next. So my niece told her and she went to get off the ferris wheel right there! That kid is FEARLESS! So after the fair we went home so my niece and nephew could have a nap then we were going over to my brother's in laws house for my mom's birthday dinner. MAN that was filling I don't think I've eaten that much since Easter soo much to eat. Well that's all I have to say today. I promise I will try to write more often.

UPDATE!
Yeah for updates! I'm getting better at making sure I update. All I needed to say today was that I still haven't signed up for Infinitus yet and prices go up monday so I'm going to sign up today when I get home from work.
AVPM is still stuck in my head. It's totally awesome. I recite random lines from it or I'll start giggling for no apparent reason I think my co-workers are starting to get really concerned, my randomness isn't new to them but it's getting worse. haha I'm weird.
Well that's it for now I guess.

I don't really have much to say :s
I thought I would post anyways just really wanted to say Hockey preseason starts in a month and 3 days and i'm kind of really excited I've missed it so much :( I don't really like any sports other the hockey and well quidditch I'll watch baseball if the Blue-Jays are winning but they are sucking again. Not that I'm not suprised I mean they normall suck, and I've been watching a bit of CFL because the Ti-Cats aren't as horrible as normal (for now) so I'm excited to see my boys again and with the changes they've made I'm excited to see how the guys work with each other and the line changes Gabby made.

I fail!
So I started a blog at blogspot and I realized that I FAIL at blogging. Why, you might ask well it's because I don't do anything with my life I don't go partying I don't go out much the most exciting thing about me is that I read, a lot, like 42 books so far this year. I was going to be taking a literature course online this summer but the course was cancelled because not enough people signed up for it. I'm sure I would have had more to talk about this year then I normally do if the course wasn't cancelled I mean it was a course about Harry Potter and Narnia. Who wouldn't have stuff to talk about when they are studying HP and Narnia!
I'm trying to convince my cousin to go to DC with me this October. The thing is one of our cousins is getting married on the 17th of October and I don't think it would go well if we missed the wedding. I'm sure though we could be back with PLENTY of time before the wedding, and I really want to see Chris <3 and Johnny and the Caps! Plus there is so much more in DC that I still need to see! I only went to the Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian last October, so there's a lot more to see. Another problem with going to DC is I have to save a TON of money for Infinitus because there is no way I am missing that one.

Half-Blood Prince the game for wii
So I'm not that far in the game but so far I've practiced Quidditch twice had a game against Slytherin made 9 potions duelled Ron in the dueling club twice duelled a Hufflepuff in their dueling club twice duelled Crabbe and Goyle at school and Bellatrix twice at the Weasleys and Fenrir Greyback once at the Weasleys, and made a punch for Slughorn's christmas party. All in all I'm not impressed so far, the dueling is boring (repeatly throwing stupfeys will win for you) and Quidditch is boring you point your wii remote at the screen to go through the rings. I'll post again when I'm finished the game to let you know if it gets any better.

We are the talk of the hockey world right now because of Jim Balisillie (the blackberry guy) wanting to buy the Phoenix Coyotes and move them here well to be able to move them here he has to "upgrade" our arena. He's planning on spending $120,000,000 on renos..this is what it will look like

I never know what to write in a journal even as a kid my diary was pathetic....I have one of those fly pens and I got a journal for it, but I have yet to use it :| .....I challenged my friend to read 52 books this year, I've read 35 of the 52 so far. So I apparently posted in um 34 weeks :S
So in the last 34 weeks I have been to 1 wizard rock concert 4 more funreals have had 3 family members have cancer surgery been to DC been to 2 hockey games and applied and was accepted to an online childern's fantasy lit course. I had alot of crappy stuff happen in '08 I'm kinda glad it's over but I miss my 1 wizard rock concert and DC. DC was the most amazing few days (asides from Prophecy 2007) my dad and I are already talking about going to another Caps game maybe for playoffs or next season <3. Hopefully '09 will be a better year *crosses fingers*

k so as i said in my last entry my granny passed away well this one girl i thought was my friend said she wasn't going to go to the visitations because "Cindy"* went to respresent the dept....don't you think that ya "cindy" went to respresent the dept but also as i friend (we went to her mom's visitations) and because this girl is my friend that she would go? ya appearently not what an amazing friend eh. ugh i should of known she was still a bitch. but it's not "cindy's" fault it's my so called friend's fault for being an idiot and yet today she was being as sweet as pie....stupid 2 faced bitch

[Link] | so 2008 is the worst year ever soo much has happened the most recent is my granny dying that happened this morning she's been sick for ages but on monday we found out she had cancer and it was in operable then tuesday my parents took her to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well and she couldn't pee and walk and stuff so they found out that her kidneys were failing and they pumped her with liquids trying to get her to go but that didn't work so they gave her the strongest drug they had and that enlarged her heart and then all her other organs started shutting down and then she was gone last post i did on her i was pissed at her now i feel like a jack ass it's so hard and sudden but at least she didn't suffer from the cancer it feels really weird not having her here she lived with us my entire life i don't know anything other then her living here i'd get home from school and go visit her i feel so weird and numb

k i work at walmart and peoples horribleness at these holidays makes me hate christmas lol like why are people so stupid? argh i hate retail at least it's going to be over next thrusdayish:D lol what makes it worse is i work in the picture making part it suck...ps thank you all the customers who make my life hell:(

My trip to Buffalo/Amherst with Nic
k so since the whomping willows and the chocolate frogs have had on their myspace that they are playing in amherst i wanted to go and nic said she would too it was super duper awesome! so it only took about an hour and a half to get to buffalo including the border and so we went for lunch at the boulevard mall and shopped at hottopic and the guys at the counter totally knew what wizard rock was and we tried to convince him to go but he couldn't cuz he had to work (he was really kinda hot too) so when we found the muesem (totally funny place had like the kitchens from the 20s-90s) and i thought i saw matt outside the door and i totally freaked and got all fangirly but it wasnt him:( then when we got inside and they came in we decided to check out the merch the one merch girl remember my purse from prophecy and the other was at 514 with nic super funny so then nic made me show them my wallet and they thought it was totally awesome and i was the coolest lmao and that i had to show matt cuz brian (who is on my wallet with me) is his bff so i showed him and he took a pic of it to show brian and he thought it was awesome too...then they all set up their stuff and the chocolate frogs came on super funny matty greco is super hot and they have this one song about ron and hermoine's life in the burrow and when they introduced the song i giggled at how it was introduced (i mean come on they said how ron and hermoine spend their time in their burrow) i guess they heard and were like hey this is an all ages show get your mind out of the gutter but i mean come on......so their set was awesome and then whompy was on i love watching him perform and most of the kids left there was only like 5 or 6 left and matt got to play draco and harry:D i squeed hehe the show was super duper awesome then on the way home we got to the border in about half an hour hehe and spent an hour at the border argh but we were home by like 1030 so i guess it was ok i can't wait for the next and hopefully we won't have to cross the border for it lol:)...........i know i rambled but i said i would tell you all about it :D
